I’m obsessed with this deliciously nutritious hot drink. Its main ingredient is Turmeric, that is packed with antioxidants, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties and according to several sources plays a role in controlling type 2 diabetes, protects against certain liver diseases and assists in promoting weight loss.
SERVES 1 | PREP TIME 5 MINUTES
Ingredients
- 1 mug of hot brown rice milk or any milk of your choice
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1/8 tsp ginger (optional)
- sprinkle of black pepper (optional)
- ½ tsp honey
Place 1 tsp of Turmeric powder into the hot milk with the honey and all the other spices if using. Use a milk-frother for few seconds to mix it well, ensuring the drink is bubbly and very frothy.
