This is my hot drink of choice; it’s even replaced my usual daily coffee. Its flavoursome, smooth and really hits the mark. Matcha powder is packed with antioxidants, boosts metabolism and burns calories. Trust me, the list of benefits goes on and on. Best of all, it tastes great.
SERVES 1 | PREP TIME 10 MINUTES
Ingredients
1 bamboo scoop of Matcha/or 1/2 tsp
1 mug of hot brown rice milk or any milk of your choice
½ tsp honey
Place one bamboo scoop (or 1 tsp) of Matcha powder into the Matcha bowl or a mug. Add a bit of your chosen milk and using the Matcha whisk (chasen), whisk in a M shape. Pour in the rest of the milk, add the honey and whisk one more time. If you don’t have a Matcha whisk you can use a milk-frother.
